Funding Opportunities

The DMSS provides opportunities for Dalhousie’s medical students to start up their own initiatives and projects by providing monetary assistance. Any student can apply for project funding by filling out an electronic application. There are two rounds of applications, one in the Fall and the other in the Winter semester. Deadlines for applying vary from year-to-year. While all projects are considered for funding by the Finance Committee, the DMSS looks for projects that have tangible goals. A project can involve a local, grassroots effort to combat homelessness or can be part of an international global health initiative; you can check out some of our present and past initiatives by clicking the Initiatives tab.
