Scotia Professional Student Plan (SPSP) is a comprehensive banking program designed for students enrolled in programs leading to an eligible professional degree. SPSP also provides funding for students completing required internships or residencies. 

The SPSP features include:
• Scotia Powerchequing Account with Overdraft protection.
• Revolving credit line (Program limit $200,000).
• No monthly or yearly fees.
• Interest is charged monthly and added to the balance
• No principal repayments required; may be repaid at any time without penalty. 
• After graduation and during the repayment grace period, continue to draw on the credit line within authorized limits. 
• After the repayment grace period has ended, automatically converts to a term loan with no change in interest rate. . 
• Additional funds may be available for Residents.
