Synopsis

Mike Stevens will lead an open workshop, aimed at exposing participants to the power of using music as a method of teaching music to children in isolated communities. No experience is necessary to participate, only a positive attitude and readiness to have some fun!

Biography

Mike Stevens is a harmonica virtuoso and active professional musician. Since 1999 Mike has been traveling to isolated communities in Northern Ontario and Labrador, Canada sharing his love for music with kids and helping them explore their own musical expression through instrument lending libraries and recording studios he has helped create in some of the communities.
