Documentary premiere - "First, Do No Harm"
Short: 6:15pm on Tuesday, April 5th in Theater A, Alyson and I will be premiering our documentary, ''''First, Do No Harm''''. If you are considering doing an international elective then you should check it out! Also if you are at all interested in Global Health or med student film making then that's a good reason to come out too.
Also, we'll be screening the short film: ''''Day 12'''' starring Stephen
Robinson & Andrew Moeller with music by Tiffany O'Donnell
Long story:
Some of you may have heard about the documentary that Alyson and I have
been working on for the past three years. Others may have no idea what I'm
talking about. Either way, if you're interested, please join us for the
premiere of our documentary on the ethics of medical student electives in
under-resourced settings entitled, ''First, Do No Harm''.
We hope this film will be of interest to those considering going on their
first clinical experience in a developing country as well as those who
have had many such experiences.
As well, we will be starting the night off with a screening of the DMSS
and Humanities-in-Medicine sponsored short film: ''Day 12'' starring Stephen
Robinson, Andrew Moeller and Alyson Holland with an original score by
Tiffany O'Donnell.
Refreshments will be at 6:15pm in the Tupper Link and the screening will
begin at 6:30pm in Theatre A on Tuesday, April 5th. Both screenings will
take about one hour total with discussion to follow for those who are
interested.
Thanks,
Tim & Alyson
