Psychiatry Interest Group Kick-off

The Psychiatry Interest Group (PIG) is hosting its kickoff event on Tuesday Nov 8th from 7-9pm in the Tupper Commons (caf)! Psychiatry tends not to be a specialty many people consider when starting med school. We've got a panel of staff psychiatrists from different subspecialties who are joining us to let us know what their perceptions of psychiatry were before med school and why they chose psychiatry as a specialty. As well, they may be sharing with us some of the clinical scenarios that have been unique to psychiatry. There will be food provided with an opportunity to mingle with residents and the staff psychiatrists.
