There is free street parking, and transit stops are very close by for buses 1, 2, 3, 4, 24, and 90. The bus stop for the #1 (which travels to downtown Halifax in 15 minutes) is less than a one minute walk from the house.<br /><br />Within a 5 minute walk there is a grocery store (Sobeys) and pharmacy (Lawtons), as well as a couple of excellent local coffee shops. Within a 15 minute walk, Quinpool Road is home to many restaurants and shops. The downtown core of the city is a 30 minute walk or 5-10 minute drive away. It's on two city transit bus routes. The kitchen and bathroom would be shared with me (I'm a 46 year old queer female, who works in a healthcare related field and I work from my home on the top floor of the house).&nbsp; I'm generally quiet, friendly, helpful, a good communicator and keep my home tidy.&nbsp; There's access to a washer and dryer in the basement.&nbsp; I have two cats (one is friendly and the other one is timid).&nbsp; I do not accept any other pets in my place, where I already have two cats.&nbsp;<br /><br />Rent is $250 a week and includes internet, hot water, power and oil heat.
