The bus stop for the #1 (which travels to downtown Halifax in 15 minutes) is less than a one minute walk from the house. Within a 5 minute walk there is a grocery store (Sobeys) and pharmacy (Lawtons), as well as a couple of excellent local coffee shops. Within a 15 minute walk, Quinpool Road is home to many restaurants and shops. The downtown core of the city is a 30 minute walk or 5-10 minute drive away.
