This 1-bedroom backyard suite is a newly constructed and completely private space. All utilities (heat, water, electricity, wifi) and laundry are included, as well as linens. There is a shared terrace with some patio furniture for your use in warmer weather, and a shed with bike storage if needed. This unit is owner-occupied when it is not rented and we have really worked to ensure it has everything you need to feel at home.

The property includes the following:

-a bathroom with walk-in shower
-a washing machine and dryer
-a large kitchen with all appliances, dishes, and cooking equipment needed
-a comfortable living room including a large-screen smart TV and a Bluetooth speaker
-a dedicated desk nook
-a comfortable upstairs bedroom (queen bed) with ample closet space

The property is located very centrally on Halifax's peninsula. There is free street parking, and transit stops are very close by for buses 1, 2, 3, 4, 24, and 90. The bus stop for the #1 (which travels to downtown Halifax in 15 minutes) is less than a one minute walk from the house.

Within a 5 minute walk there is a grocery store (Sobeys) and pharmacy (Lawtons), as well as a couple of excellent local coffee shops. Within a 15 minute walk, Quinpool Road is home to many restaurants and shops. The downtown core of the city is a 30 minute walk or 5-10 minute drive away. The HI is a 20 minute walk away, the VG and IWK 30 minutes.
