Furnished bedroom available for rent for a mature person in a 2.5 bedroom, 2-story walk up condo with one shared bathroom - this condo is on the second and third floor, no elevator.  Shared use of living room, balcony and kitchen with me (a 52 year old cisgender female settler academic in the health professions who often works at home and sometimes has friends over for dinner or work meetings).

Rent is $250/week including utilities (electric heat, water, internet) for short-term rental of my spare bedroom which has a futon bed, desk, closet and drawers. There is on-street parking available for overnight parking, except during winter parking ban (two hour street parking during the day). There is a laundromat across the street for your use.  My place is pet friendly, if your pet is well behaved and gets along with other dogs and people.  I often dog-sit for friends, so comfort with having a dog around is required. 

Located near Windsor and Chebucto Rd,  so walking distance to Dalhousie University and hospitals (e.g., 15 mins to Infirmary, 25 mins to Victoria General). Preference is for mature female or queer/trans folks, but open to kind souls who are willing to respectfully share space with a slightly scattered and somewhat introverted academic who appreciates a quite home and open communication.
