Room for rent for the month of February. It's in the top flat of a sweet north-end house, open-concept with hardwood floors, washer/dryer, disherwasher and the best landlords in town. I have two giant cats; one is really old and the last time a man lived here he (the cat) nearly died in protest. Therefore I am looking for a woman.
Room comes with double bed and in-closet storage system. There's a desk in the house if needed.
Located right in the middle of all the craft beer and ironically high-waisted pants the north end has to offer! Close to three grocery stores, many buses, beer stores, yoga studios, live music venues. 15 minute walk to downtown. The Halifax Common and Oval are two blocks away. There's no driveway but there is permit street parking.
I am a journalist and teacher, quiet but chill professional looking for the same.

I’m looking for a roommate for this coming September to May (with an option to potentially extend the lease longer, if needed). The vacant room is a great size and well lit; my past roommate loved it. The apartment is a 5 minute walk from the Dalhousie’s Studley campus/15-20 minute walk downtown to Sexton Campus. The unit is very clean, spacious, well furnished and well kept. Living room, dining area and kitchen are furnished (bring your own bed, essentially). Parking available. All utilities are included, minus laundry, which is coin-operated down the hall. I like to run a clean, reasonably quiet and considerate home. My ideal roommate is a serious (or responsible) student or young professional. I’m looking for someone conscientious, who doesn't leave dishes in the sink for days/messes lying around, doesn't smoke, and isn't a huge partyer (or at least keeps it out of the apartment). I am in school and appreciate keeping the house as a quiet, safe space to unwind. I do love watching movies, cooking, animals, outdoor activities and socializing. If you think the apartment might be a good fit for you, I would love to hear about you. Contact me with any questions at email@example.com. Pictures available here http://goo.gl/j88OlG
