We are seeking volunteers for a sailing program created for children of different abilities!
Many Nova Scotian children spend their summers enjoying summer sailing camp, and learning the important lessons the sports provide. For children of different abilities, this is not as easily accessible. In collaboration with Sail Able NS and the Royal Nova Scotia Yacht Squadron, we designed a program for children with disabilities to experience the joys of sailing. This event will take place on July 6th. Two sessions will take place, each composed of sailing-themed activities, including the opportunity to sail in a Martin 16 (sailboat designed for sailors with disabilities) with a Sail Able coach! Whether you are a sailor, enjoy the ocean or love spending time with children, we invite you to join our event to “Sail the SEA” this coming summer! |
