Short Term Furnished Room for Rent

Furnished bedroom available for rent for a mature person in a 2.5 bedroom, 2-story walk up condo (this condo is on the second and third floor, no elevator) with one shared bathroom.  Shared use of living room, dining room, balcony and kitchen with me (a 50 year old cisgender female settler academic in the health professions). Rent is $225-250/week including utilities (electric heat, water, internet) depending on duration (max duration 3 months).  There is only street parking available for overnight parking (two hour street parking during the day), but there could be paid parking available in the area if needed. There is a laundromat across the street for your use.  Pet friendly, if well behaved.  Located near Windsor and Chebucto Rd,  so walking distance to Dalhousie and hospitals (e.g., 15 mins to Infirmary, 25 mins to Victoria General). Preference is for mature female or queer/trans folks, but open to kind souls who are willing to share space with a slightly scattered and somewhat introverted academic who appreciates a quite home and open communication.  Please contact lauckner@dal.ca if you are interested in learning more.
